Carton Flow Rack in Riverside, CA

Carton flow rack in Riverside, CA works two ways: as a pick face for regional distribution orders, or as a line-side parts supply for a manufacturing floor. Either way, cases roll forward on an incline and the oldest arrives first.

We are part of Warehouse Equipment & Supplies Co. as one of its divisions, and that company has been supplying and installing rack since 1997. I look at Riverside jobs through two lenses: who restocks, and who picks.

Carton Flow Rack at Hunter Industrial Park

Hunter Industrial Park and the SR-91 and I-215 routes carry most of Riverside's industrial traffic. Buildings here range from manufacturing plants to large regional distribution centers, and food and beverage operations show up in both.

Newer Inland Empire buildings often run 32 to 40 feet clear. Carton flow uses the lower levels, so we plan pallet reserve above it and keep pick heights inside a comfortable reach. Summer heat matters too: we stage installs for cooler hours in buildings without air conditioning.

On a plant floor, lanes can face the assembly line while material handlers restock from behind. Workers on the line never wait on a forklift. Visit the Riverside service area page for other products we supply here.

Case Flow Rack Lanes, Dividers and Retrofits

Think about the full pick module, not only the lanes. Many Riverside distribution buildings combine two or three levels of carton flow racking with a pick aisle, a conveyor or cart path, and pallet reserve overhead. Each piece changes the others. A conveyor along the face shortens walking; a cart path needs more aisle width. We draw those options side by side so you can see positions, reach and travel before choosing. Exit trays angled toward the picker help on lower levels, and level heights are set so the busiest lanes sit between knee and shoulder. That ergonomic placement is easy to miss and hard to fix later.

Each lane carries one item. We set width from the carton or tote, add dividers so product tracks straight, and pick a pitch that moves your lightest case without slamming the heaviest. Light items may need a steeper bed; heavy ones need brakes or a gentler slope.

Retrofitting into pallet rack bays is common. Flow beds mount on standard beams, so existing selective rack can carry a pick module low and pallets high. We confirm frame capacity with the combined load before quoting.

When full pallets need rotation, pallet flow rack in Riverside feeds the same logic at pallet scale. For deep reserve without rotation, compare pushback rack in Riverside. The carton flow rack product page lists lane components.
